O.E. bonded rubber vibration dampers are designed and manufactured to suit the specific power and torque range of the engine and have a typical life of 200,00 kms. An increase in engine performance results in the O.E. damper being less effective, and can result in increased engine vibrations and harmonics, and crankshaft damage. If you have increased the performance of your engine, then you should consider replacing your standard damper with a Ross Performance damper rated up to 1000HP
