Water Pump Electric Conversion Kit
Coolant housings and gaskets to replace the water pump and thermostat housings to allow use of electric water pump. The housings are machined to take AN16 fittings and the thermostat housing is machined to take standard temperature sender units, the electric water pump temperature sender unit and the heater inlet hose attachment. There is no thermostat used in this arrangement. A cover plate and gasket for the coolant inlet on the top of the timing cover housing is included. (DPP brand)

Water Pump Electric Conversion Kit
Electric Water Pump Conversion Kit to suit Toyota 1H series engines. This kit has been developed and is for sale through us. The original belt driven water pump is replaced with a modified housing to take the fitting for the electric pump. The thermostat and housing is removed and replaced with a cover plate and O-ring. A 22mm Welch plug is inserted into the top of the block where water would have been directed through the thermostat bypass. The outlet is modified with an internal AN16 thread so the customer can either use the standard radiator hose, or a fitting and hose of their choice. The fan is not used but an electric thermo fan will need to be fitted.
All of this will enable better control of engine cooling and a slight increase in power as the fan will not be driven from the water pump. (DPP brand - made in Australia)
